Salary up to £35,000 (OTE £40,000 to £48,000)

We’re a well-established UK manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and service, attracting a high volume of inbound enquiries each month.
This role is ideal for an energetic, commercially astute Sales Development Executive who can take ownership of warm opportunities — understanding each prospect, engaging key stakeholders, and converting quotations into profitable business.
You’ll thrive on structure, pace, and persistence — balancing high activity with smart questioning to qualify leads and close deals efficiently.
The right person will be ambitious, disciplined, and motivated by results, with the drive to turn every opportunity into success.
We’re seeking a driven, commercially intelligent candidate who thrives on proactive communication and fast-paced inbound sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of quotations under £13,000 — follow up, track progress, and close deals.
  • Manage a high volume of calls and emails daily (8–12 touchpoints per opportunity).
  • Build relationships with contractors, buyers, and specifiers to understand project needs.
  • Qualify leads effectively and share insights with management.
  • Communicate value confidently and protect company margins through value-based selling.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM, using automation tools to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • High-energy, self-motivated, and target driven.
  • Strong questioning and listening skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Confident managing high lead volumes and complex quoting pipelines.
  • Digitally fluent, ideally experienced with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Persistent, professional, and able to manage a structured sales process.
  • Ambitious — wants to own the opportunity from start to finish.
 Rewards & Benefits
  • Base salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
  • Commission: 2% on all invoiced sales above monthly threshold (typical uplift £10,000–£12,000 p.a.)
