We’re looking for an experienced
Quality Manager to take full technical responsibility for all aspects of food safety, quality, and compliance.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll lead the implementation and improvement of robust technical systems to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be a visible presence in the factory, driving best practice, developing efficient ways of working, and fostering a strong culture of food safety and quality across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site quality assurance from raw materials to finished products.
- Maintain and continuously improve BRC and HACCP systems to achieve and retain AA grade.
- Lead audits, inspections, and site visits, ensuring full compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage non-conformances, complaints, product release, and root cause investigations.
- Support and coach teams to ensure understanding and delivery of quality standards.
- Monitor KPIs and drive improvement initiatives across departments.
- Provide technical support to NPD and ensure customer and commercial alignment.
- Conduct regular hygiene audits and maintain accurate technical documentation.
About You- Proven experience in a Quality or Technical Management role within the food industry – this is essential.
- Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and quality management systems.
- Confident in leading audits and inspections.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and committed to maintaining the highest standards.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 17.00 pm
