Job Description
Our client are looking to employ a facilities caretaker to look after the site based in Hednesford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key holder, ensuring the site is securely opened and locked each day.
- Carry out routine maintenance, basic repairs, and daily site checks.
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and safety of the school grounds.
- Support health and safety compliance across the site.
- Assist with deliveries, room setups, and equipment moves.
- Respond promptly to any urgent site issues.
Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check with safeguarding certification (current and valid).
- Previous experience working in a school or education environment.
- Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts.
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance and practical site work.
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Pay Rate:
£14 - £15 per hour
Working hours:
Monday: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Tuesday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm
Wednesday: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Thursday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm
Friday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm
