CNC Operator

Hours: Rotational shifts – 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour


Location: Wolverhampton
 


Pertemps Recruitment is working with a number of well-established manufacturing and engineering businesses who are looking to recruit skilled CNC Operators. These roles are ideal for candidates with previous CNC experience who are looking for long-term opportunities within a professional engineering environment.


 Typical duties may include:

• Operating CNC machinery in line with production schedules
• Loading and unloading components and raw materials
• Setting tools and carrying out basic offsets where required
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out quality inspections using micrometers and verniers
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping

 
The ideal candidate will have: 
Previous experience operating CNC machines


Confident use of micrometers and verniers


Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
