Press Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up press machines to cut metal to specified dimensions.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and safely.
• Monitor the quality of materials and finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a press operator, ideally with metalworking experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

• Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday
• Pay: £14.36 per hour
