Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate rolling mill/roll forming machinery according to production specifications
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality
- Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required standards
- Perform basic maintenance for minor machine issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Ensure production targets are met within established timeframes
- Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Complete required production paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience operating roll forming/rolling mill machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours: 07:30am-16:30pm Monday-Thursday and 07:30am-12:30pm on Friday's.
Pay: Pay rate starts at £12.62 for the first 12 weeks then rising to between £14-£15 per hour dependant on experience and would be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
