Recruitment OfficerSalary: Circa £30,000 Location: Manchester City Centre (on-site)Contract: Permanent, Full-time The opportunity:We are recruiting a Recruitment Officer to join a busy and supportive Human Resources team based in Manchester city centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic recruitment professional to take ownership of the full recruitment process. From advertising vacancies to onboarding new starters, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly recruitment service to both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full recruitment process, from advertising roles to confirming appointments.
- Coordinate candidate communication, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and post job adverts across a variety of platforms, following brand and style guidelines.
- Use the applicant tracking system to manage applications, interviews, and offers.
- Organise interviews, including booking rooms, arranging online meetings, and preparing interview materials.
- Carry out pre-employment checks, including right-to-work verification, references, and medical clearances.
- Deliver on boarding and induction sessions for new starters.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
- Build positive working relationships with managers and colleagues across the business.
- Support HR projects and contribute to continuous process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:- Experience in recruitment or HR administration, ideally in an internal or in-house role.
- Educated to degree level in HR, business, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
- CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resources Management (or working towards it).
- Knowledge of UK Right to Work and pre-employment processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using recruitment or HR systems.
- Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
- A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to work.
