Job Title: Training Admin Assistant
Location: Swansea (Hybrid - must be flexible)
Pay Rate: £15.04 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: 37 per week
About the Role
- We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Training Admin Assistant to join the Analytical Services team in Swansea.
- This role will focus on supporting the documentation and development of key administrative and laboratory processes. You'll work closely with senior administrators, shadowing their work, taking detailed notes, and turning these into clear "how to" guides.
- The role offers a mix of administrative work, process documentation, and collaboration across teams, helping to ensure consistent and efficient operations within the lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow senior administrative staff to capture and document key processes.
- Create and maintain "how to" guides and internal documentations.
- Provide general administrative support to the Analytical Services team, including scheduling meetings, managing records, and processing orders.
- Manage and update digital and physical filing systems.
- Liaise with colleagues across the Analytical Services teams to gather and verify information.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, and stored appropriately.
About You
- Strong administrative background, ideally within a busy office or laboratory environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Strong written skills with the ability to produce clear, easy-to-follow documentation.
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional communication style.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing lab schedules.
