Operator (SES) – Temp to Perm
We are seeking reliable and motivated Operators to join our Strip Etch Line team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a nightshift role within a fast-paced production environment, offering full training and long-term development opportunities.

About the Role

• Contract Type: Temp to Perm
• Training Schedule: Days, 06:00–18:00 (40 hours over 4 days: three 12-hour shifts + one 8-hour shift)
• Pay: £13.97 per hour
• Nightshift Hours: 18:00–06:00
• Training: Full on-the-job training alongside an experienced operator and Technical Engineer

The Strip Etch Line is a new semi-automated conveyor system used to remove excess copper and create PCB features. The role involves some chemical handling; all required PPE is supplied.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret route cards accurately to match job requirements
• Set up machinery according to job specifications
• Follow SOPs precisely, including verbal and written instructions
• Ensure jobs are completed correctly, safely and on time
• Learn and undertake basic machine maintenance
• Handle boards carefully to avoid damage
• Prioritise workload to maximise throughput and efficiency

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks
• Able to meet daily production targets
• Gentle and careful handling of sensitive components
• Quick learner with a willingness to develop
• Good verbal and written English
• Flexible with shifts and overtime
• Hardworking and able to work well within a team

Progression A skills matrix is in place, with grading from A to B following successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
