Job Description
Royal Mail is looking for a reliable, motivated Collections Driver to join their dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail, collecting mail from post-boxes, customer sites and businesses, ensuring it reaches our sorting centres on time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collecting mail from designated routes and priority locations.
- Maintaining accurate records of collection times.
- Ensuring all items are handled safely and securely.
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with the public and business clients.
- Operating a Royal Mail vehicle responsibly and in line with all safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
- Confidence driving in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently.
- A clean DBS check.
Hours: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Burton on Trent
Hourly rate: £13.07
