Job Description
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 2 weeks initially
Location: Millerhill (EH21)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort food waste to remove contamination before it enters the processing system.
- Carry out general cleaning tasks across the site, including pressure washing when needed.
- Use the weighbridge computer system to log vehicles entering and leaving the site.
- Report any problems or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Always work in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Skills:
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks
- Able to keep the site clean and spot potential issues
- Comfortable with manual work and being on your feet
- Able to work well with others and support the wider team
- Willing to take on tasks and solve basic problems without being asked
- Open to taking on a variety of duties as required by the manager
- Able to follow instructions and report issues clearly
