We’re looking for an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join a busy construction team. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in cost estimating and project analysis will directly contribute to winning new projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and bids for construction projects.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements.
- Quantify materials, labour, and other resources needed for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain cost databases and stay updated on market trends and industry standards.
- Ensure timely submission of estimates and reports.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience in estimating or quantity surveying within construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Causeway), Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
