Warehouse Operative

Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for several Reach Truck / Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established distribution company based in Scunthorpe.
 
These roles offer long-term opportunities within a busy warehouse environment. Although a valid Reach Truck Licence is essential, this is a multi-skilled role where you’ll also operate PPT and LLOP equipment and assist with general warehouse duties.
 
What will I be doing as a Reach Truck / Warehouse Operative?

• Operating Reach Trucks, PPTs, and LLOPs safely and efficiently
• Picking, packing, and moving goods within the warehouse
• Building and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
• Ensuring all stock is handled accurately and safely
• Following all Health & Safety and warehouse procedures
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Valid Reach Truck Licence (essential)
• PPT and LLOP experience advantageous
• Ability to work on your own initiative and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment preferred

 
Available Shifts and Pay Rates:

• 4 on 4 off – Days (06:00 – 18:00) – £13.50 per hour
• Weekend Shift – Friday to Sunday (06:00 – 18:00) – £13.50 per hour
• Case Picker – Monday to Friday (08:30 – 16:30) – £12.60 per hour
  • Building orders from scratch by picking cases to customer specifications, wrapping and labelling pallets ready for dispatch
