Location: Wrexham
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Goods in Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Wrexham. You will play a key role in supporting the logistics function by efficiently handling and processing incoming stock. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with opportunities for long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming stock and check against delivery notes.
- Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring all items are present and undamaged.
- Accurately record and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Organise and book items into the correct stock locations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits when required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Must hold a valid, in-house, or expired FLT (Forklift Truck) licence — FLT use is minimal in this role.
- Ability to use warehouse equipment and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
