HGV 7.5t (C1) Driver - PM
Location: Gloucester
Pay Rate: £16.53 - £26.21 per hour

Pertemps is proud to be working with Royal Mail, the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 7.5t (C1) Drivers to be a part of the team at the Gloucester Mail Centre.

The Role
  • Delivering and collecting mail and parcels between Royal Mail centres
  • Mostly driving, with occasional interaction with the load
  • Operating from organised depots with clean, well-maintained vehicles
  • Shifts run 7 days a week, with weekends as peak days
  • Variety of shift lengths available to suit your lifestyle

What You'll Need
  • Valid HGV 7.5t (C1) licence held for at least 2 years
  • Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card is essential
  • Willingness to work weekends, as these are the peak days
  • No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, or TT endorsements)
  • Excellent geographical knowledge & professional attitude
  • Strong knowledge of Drivers' Hours & WTD
  • Comfortable completing manual tachograph entries
  • Able to pass a DBS security check
  • Completion of site assessment & induction at Royal Mail Filton
