Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
  • Experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds with varying needs
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and partners
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and implementing action plans
  • Confidence in lone working and working as part of a team
  • Clear understanding of diversity and inclusion when working with vulnerable people
  • Ability to assess risk and apply sound judgement
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of housing support and homelessness issues
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals (1:1 or group settings)
  • Understanding of training, employment, education, or social inclusion opportunities
  • Knowledge of housing-related support services
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Safeguarding certification
