Dispatch Operative ( High Security )

Job Title: Dispatch Operative
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset - BS21
Salary: £15.31 per hour
Hours: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

An opportunity is available for a Dispatch Operative to join a leading Clevedon manufacturer of vacuum and exhaust-management systems for the semiconductor industry. You will work at the final stage of the manufacturing process, preparing completed assemblies for secure shipment and coordinating with the logistics team.

We are looking for individuals who have previously worked in regulated, high-security settings, including aviation or dockside environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare goods for dispatch with accurate documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers and internal teams.
• Pack systems and kits, complete scan-packing and handle loading/unloading.
• Record inventory, audit shipments and manage SAP documentation.
• Maintain strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards, including 5S.

Skills and Experience

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred)
• Previous warehouse/dispatch experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Computer literate; SAP knowledge desirable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Worked in Aviation, shipment or similar high security enviornments

Security Requirements A 5-year checkable work history is required, with any gaps over 28 days explained and evidenced. A DBS criminal record check will be completed.

Due to the location, you will need to live in Clevedon or own your own vehicle.
