Job Description

Events Administrator
Professional Standards
Salary: £16 per hour
Start Date: ASAP - March 2025
Location: London
hybrid working, 35-hour week| two days in office, three days remote

We are looking for a proactive and organised Events Administrator to join our busy Events Team. You will support the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of event management, from administration to on-site support and online event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • As the first point of contact for event enquiries, you will manage communications with professionalism, handling invitations, reminders, and confirmations for speakers and delegates. You’ll monitor inboxes, respond promptly to queries, and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • You will take ownership of registrations, payments, and refunds, and support marketing efforts through email campaigns and social media to promote events. Preparing event materials such as delegate packs, badges, course documents, and attendance lists will also be part of your role, ensuring every event runs seamlessly.
  • On event days, you will provide on-site support for delegates, speakers, organisers, and committee members, helping everything run efficiently. You will also support committees and organisers with administrative tasks, create and update event webpages, and produce reports from databases.
  • For online events, you will manage technical production, including cameras, microphones, and presentation flow. Conducting pre-event checks with speakers and assisting attendees with accessing the event will ensure a smooth digital experience for all.

We are seeking someone with event experience, who is highly organised, enthusiastic, and enjoys working as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are key. Comfortable managing multiple tasks, be adaptable to changing priorities, and committed to delivering a high standard of service to everyone involved in our events.

If you have the skills and experience required for this opportunity and would like to work within a busy events department - submit your CV for immediate review
