Pertemps Didcot are currently recruiting for a Cover Manager on behalf of a local secondary school in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to play a key role in ensuring high-quality teaching and learning continues in the absence of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day cover for absent teaching and support staff.
- Coordinate and support cover supervisors.
- Maintain and develop staff absence recording systems.
- Liaise with supply agencies and manage related budgets.
- Provide accurate data to support leadership decisions.
- Ensure students receive appropriate learning materials during staff absences.
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience working as part of a team and managing multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Knowledge of Bromcom (or willingness to learn) is desirable
- Holds an Enhanced DBS
