Job Description
Location: Thame
Pay Rate: £17.76 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) Immediate start
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations within a gas filling environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Handling, sorting, and inspecting gas cylinders
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately
- Operating Forklift Trucks and carrying out vehicle shunting when required
- Supporting daily production plans to maintain target stock levels
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE at all times
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across all work areas (both indoor and outdoor)
- Working collaboratively with your team and responding to reasonable requests from Line Managers
- Achieving and maintaining set production and quality targets
- Strong safety awareness and a responsible attitude towards workplace safety
- Flexible and reliable, with a positive approach to shift work
- Good communication skills and a high level of personal integrity
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual, hands-on work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the site location
- Must be willing to undertake a Drug & Alcohol Test prior to starting
- Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or industrial environment is beneficial but not essential
- Good standard of spoken and written English
