Job Description
Pertemps Reading are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to work with a Steel Supplier in Reading.
This is a permanent role | 37.5 hours per week
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee loading/unloading of vehicles and daily inspections in line with regulations
- Maintain accurate stock records, goods in/out checks and reporting damaged or returned materials
- Supervising warehouse and transport operations including picking, cutting, loading and compliance
- Ensuring Health & safety standards are maintained, including correct use of PPE and safe storage/handling of materials
- Ensuring safe storage, racking and handling of materials at all time
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and promoting company values of safety, quality and productivity
