Accounts Administrator
Pertemps Reading are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join a busy company based in Reading!
Full time hours, between 30-40 hours per week, over 4/5 shifts (must include Fridays). This will be an office-based role.
As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- supporting the accounts team with day-to-day accounting and administrative duties. The role ensures the accurate processing of financial data, maintenance of records and the smooth operation of accounts-related function.
- ensuring all receipts are recorded and to oversee that they are posted to clients’ accounts and updated daily.
- reconciling all receipts with the bank records and post into accounting system.
- assisting and support with the weekly payroll.
- maintaining accurate filing systems for financial reports.
- supporting the accounts team with any ad hoc tasks and projects.
Required skills for a successful Accounts Administrator:
- Experience with data entry and bookkeeping tasks (training will be given)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications:
- Level 3 AAT Qualified or equivalent - desirable
