A UK based business located in Redditch are currently recruiting for a Brake Press Operator to join their team. This role is available due to an uplift in work and growth, with this position potentially leading to a permanent contract after a successful trial period.

Responsibilities/Requirements of the role:

• Operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal and plate materials
• Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling for each job
• Set up machine parameters such as tonnage, bend angles, back gauge, and stroke length
• Load, position, align, and secure metal parts for bending operations
• Maintenance of machinery
• Adhering to health and safety procedures

This role is working on a fixed day shift, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime available during busy periods, paid at a premium rate.
