Job Description
We're working with one of the world's foremost offshore engineering companies, and we are looking for a QHSE Manager to join their team in Rotterdam.
With a focus on building relationships and raising safety awareness, both in the boardroom and in the field, this role will involve:
- getting to know stakeholders at all levels across the business, including visiting offshore sites and vessels
- getting buy-in for safety and project management programmes
- using KPIs as a tool (not a weapon) to understand critical issues and how to build solutions
- coach, support and guide colleagues on QHSE matters - working towards embedding safety principles in every aspect of work
The ideal candidate?
- You'll have a strong track record (8+ years) of improving safety in high-risk environments, with experience in the offshore construction or marine environment
- Experience working at corporate level, as well as on projects
- Hold a recognised health and safety qualification
- Have worked internationally
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and relationships with stakeholders at all levels, a natural motivator
- Experience in incident and accident investigation, conducting internal audits, pre-qual and tender support for projects
