Job Description
Pertemps are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a well-established manufacturing company in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on role within final inspection, making sure products meet quality standards before being dispatched.
Main Duties:
- Final inspection of finished products
- Visual and basic dimensional checks
- Recording inspection results and completing paperwork
- Supporting production with in-process checks if issues arise
- Reporting defects or quality concerns to the QA team
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Previous experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing role
- Good attention to detail
- Confident carrying out visual inspections
- Basic experience using measuring tools such as verniers or micrometers
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Manufacturing or electronics background
- Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment
- First Article Inspection experience (training can be provided)
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade C or above)
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Reliable and able to work under pressure
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
