Financial Controller

Sheridan Maine are working with a growing Newbury based business who are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis.
 
This role offers the chance to take ownership of the accounts, oversee a small team, and play a key part in driving process improvements and system enhancements. You’ll be involved in everything from monthly management reporting and statutory accounts, to budgeting, audit preparation, and supporting wider strategic projects.
 
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact within a ambitious organisation. They’re looking for someone with similar experience, ideally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with strong reporting skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
 
This is a fully office-based role offering a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and on site parking.
