Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a highly respected chartered accountancy practice, based in the heart of London, to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join a firm renowned for delivering outstanding service and building long-term client relationships.

The Role
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing compliance, and delivering high-quality tax advisory services. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of junior team members and support the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities as the Corporate Tax Manager:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
• Review corporation tax returns and computations prepared by junior staff.
• Provide advisory services on a wide range of tax matters, including restructures, international tax, and group planning.
• Liaise with HMRC and clients to resolve complex tax queries.
• Support and mentor junior members of the tax team.
• Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the tax practice.

The successful Corporate Tax Manager:

• CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients within a practice environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Strong leadership qualities, with experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
