Play a key role in delivering our capital programmes!As a Technical Co-Ordinator, you’ll ensure effective design, coordination, and scheduling so technicians can deliver projects on time. You’ll optimise productivity, reduce repeat visits, and manage resources for efficient asset maintenance and project delivery.
This role involves collaborating across teams and service providers, building strong stakeholder relationships, and meeting KPIs while following TW standards and Calm Network protocols.
What you’ll be doing as a Strategic Field Technical Coordinator- Management of all water network pre-requisites and activities delivered by the project support technicians to facilitate the delivery of capital and maintenance projects and programmes.
- Communicating with all stakeholders in a professional manner to ensure efficient completion of projects and maintenance programmes.
- Establish yourself as technical lead on water networks activities on complex works.
- Provision of accurate and timely information to the project support technicians in the field so that they have the knowledge to provide clear and relevant information to our customers.
- Proactively support our network operations colleagues and teams on water network activities during large asset failure and/or events.
Base location: Woodford - E173PR
Working pattern or hours: 38 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
What you should bring to the role?To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with high work volumes.
- Ability to understand the various assets on our water network system and their purpose for maintaining a stable water network.
- Proven skills of water networks competency and completion of relevant operational water networks training.
- Good presentation skills and familiarity with MS Office suite of applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
- Good knowledge on the processes of water networks, as well as Water Network Standards to understand and demonstrate best practice.
- Hold relevant water network qualifications to enable the writing of high-standard Permit to Work, mains isolation packs and guided method of works for respective network operations.
- Preferably experience in GIS, Meterman, Z-One, PI, SCADA, Sample Manager, MS Teams.
