We’re working with a well-established business in the Hassocks area who are looking for an
Internal Sales/Account Manager to join their team. This role offers fantastic opportunity to develop within a supportive & dynamic environment, working closely with customers across a range of industries.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the wider sales team to provide first-class service to customers – managing incoming enquiries, preparing quotes, and identifying opportunities to develop accounts further.
- Managing the sales & enquiries inbox, ensuring all quotes and requests are responded to
- Acting as main point of contact for your allocated customers, providing support & advice
- Preparing & following up on quotes, ensuring accurate pricing & converting into sales
- Making outbound sales calls to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of orders & resolution of customer queries
- Addressing any pricing, delivery, or service issues and ensuring a positive outcome for the customer
- Attending sales meetings, training sessions, ad occasional customer or trade events
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in sales, account management, or customer service within a B2B environment (construction, distribution, or manufacturing experience would be ideal)
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
- Confident using Excel & CRM systems
- A strong communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and building rapport
- Target-driven and proactive, with the ability to identify new opportunities
- Able to work well in a team environment while taking ownership of your own workload
- Full UK driving licence required for occasional travel to events or client sites
What’s on offer
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
- £26,500 - £28,000pa DOE
