Internal Sales Executive

Are you a confident communicator with strong customer service & sales support experience? Do you enjoy building lasting client relationships and working within a fast-paced environment?

We’re working with a well-established business in the Hassocks area who are looking for an Internal Sales/Account Manager to join their team. This role offers fantastic opportunity to develop within a supportive & dynamic environment, working closely with customers across a range of industries.

The Role
You’ll work closely with the wider sales team to provide first-class service to customers – managing incoming enquiries, preparing quotes, and identifying opportunities to develop accounts further.
  • Managing the sales & enquiries inbox, ensuring all quotes and requests are responded to
  • Acting as main point of contact for your allocated customers, providing support & advice
  • Preparing & following up on quotes, ensuring accurate pricing & converting into sales
  • Making outbound sales calls to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of orders & resolution of customer queries
  • Addressing any pricing, delivery, or service issues and ensuring a positive outcome for the customer
  • Attending sales meetings, training sessions, ad occasional customer or trade events

About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Experienced in sales, account management, or customer service within a B2B environment (construction, distribution, or manufacturing experience would be ideal)
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
  • Confident using Excel & CRM systems
  • A strong communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and building rapport
  • Target-driven and proactive, with the ability to identify new opportunities
  • Able to work well in a team environment while taking ownership of your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence required for occasional travel to events or client sites

What’s on offer
