Sales Account Manager We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-respected supplier who are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their friendly, supportive team. They’re not necessarily looking for someone with lots of sales experience – instead, they want the right attitude; common sense, willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and confidence using computers/admin systems. If you enjoy speaking with customers, supporting a busy team, and building strong relationships, this could be the perfect role for you.
*Full driving licence is required*The Role - Manage the enquiries inbox, ensuring quotes and orders are handled promptly.
- Act as the main point of contact for your allocated customers.
- Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Make outbound calls to proactively engage customers and generate new business.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer queries.
- Meet personal sales targets and contribute to wider company goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service - quotes issued within 1 working hour.
- Support with pricing queries, upselling opportunities, and problem-solving.
- Resolve issues relating to pricing, delivery, orders, or complaints.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and customer events/trade days.
- Work collaboratively with senior management and colleagues across the business.
- Maximise branch engagement and re-engage non-spending customers.
- Communicate effectively across departments to support a smooth workflow.
The Person - Someone with solid admin, office or customer service experience
- Confident on the phone and comfortable with outbound calling
- Common sense, good judgement, and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Strong communication skills and a positive approach
- Sales experience is beneficial but not essential
- A team player with a willingness to support various areas of the business
The Package - Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
- Salary of up to £30,000 + comission (OTE £35,000) & bonuses
