Assembly Operative
Location: Worcester (WR2)
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: £12.56 per hour
Contract: Temporary – Permanent

A well-established company based in Worcester, operating within the infrastructure sector for over 20 years, is currently looking to recruit a reliable and hands-on Assembly Operative to join their production team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a practical, workshop-based role, ideal for someone with previous assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys working with tools, components, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembling products and components in line with drawings and instructions
Using hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately
Picking and preparing components required for assembly
Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Assisting with packing and preparing completed items for dispatch
Supporting stock control and general workshop organisation
Completing basic paperwork related to orders and production

Requirements:

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is essential
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
