About the Role The Education Network is recruiting Supply Behaviour Support Workers to work in secondary schools across Bradford. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, or additional learning needs at Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils to engage with learning, manage behaviour positively, and access education in a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide behaviour support to secondary-aged pupils (KS3–KS4)
• Work 1:1 or with small groups of students who display challenging behaviour
• Support pupils both in and out of the classroom, including intervention or inclusion areas
• Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
• Build strong, professional relationships with students and school staff
• Support teaching staff in maintaining a calm and productive learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with behavioural needs
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A calm, resilient, and consistent approach
• Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Team Teach or similar behaviour training (desirable but not essential)
