Location: Edinburgh East

Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off – 06:00 to 17:02 (45-minute break)

Pay: £14.02 – £15.68 per hour

Duration: Temporary – ongoing work

Pertemps are proud to be recruiting Van Drivers on behalf of our valued public sector client in Edinburgh. You’ll play a key role in keeping our city clean, safe, and beautiful – all while earning a competitive wage and working within a supportive team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving a variety of vehicles – cage vans, litter press, hako and sweepers
• Working as part of a friendly and dedicated team
• Carrying out heavy lifting, loading, and special uplifts
• Completing vehicle checks and essential paperwork
• Taking pride in street cleaning tasks such as sweeping, litter picking, and weeding

 

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
• Solid driving experience and confidence on Edinburgh’s roads
• A team player with a positive attitude and reliability
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Friendly and approachable – great with the public and your teammates
