SEND Officer – Bristol Pay: £300 per day
Location: Fully Remote
We’re recruiting an experienced
SEND Officer to support Bristol Council.
About the Role: This position is
fully remote. You’ll be responsible for managing a
full caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring all processes are completed within statutory timescales.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain a caseload of EHCPs
- Process Annual Reviews (ARs) in line with statutory deadlines
- Liaise with parents, schools, and professionals to ensure effective case management
- Maintain accurate and timely records on case management systems
Requirements:- Previous experience working as a SEND Officer within a Local Authority
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience using Liquid Logic is highly beneficial
Interview Process: Interviews will consist of an informal discussion with a SEND Manager to assess your experience and readiness to pick up a caseload immediately.
