Hours: 36 per week

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Brent Council for an experienced Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team.
The Role:
This role focuses on delivering a high-quality Occupational Therapy service within Adult Social Care. The successful candidate will promote strength-based practice and provide assessments, interventions, and recommendations to adults with physical disabilities and those with complex, multiple needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of adults with physical and complex disabilities.
- Promote independence and wellbeing through strength-based, person-centred interventions.
- Provide professional OT advice to colleagues and partner agencies.
- Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment, adaptations, and care packages.
- Support the delivery of safe and effective discharges from hospital and promote community-based independence.
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
- Significant experience working within Adult Social Care.
- Strong understanding of strength-based practice and the Care Act 2014.
- Excellent communication and assessment skills.
