Rate per hour: £39 per hour

Location: North Northamptonshire Haylock House, Kettering, NN15 6EY Pertemps is seeking an experienced
Band 7 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a leading Community Occupational Therapy service in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior clinician ready to take on a specialist and developmental role within a forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver highly skilled and specialised occupational therapy assessments, implementing safe and effective interventions that promote independence.
- Work to reduce hospital admissions and prevent the need for residential care by supporting safe community living.
- Lead and specialise in one or more key OT areas, such as:
- Community
- Dementia
- Reablement
- Manual handling
- Other specialist or emerging practice areas
- Support the management, development and quality assurance of Community Occupational Therapy services across Northamptonshire.
- Contribute to the growth of a profitable community-based therapy service within Olympus, ensuring all professional and regulatory standards are upheld.
Requirements- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ post-qualifying experience, ideally in community or specialist settings.
- Strong skills in complex assessments, intervention planning and risk management.
- Experience in at least one specialist area (e.g., community OT, dementia, reablement, manual handling).
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and professional frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload.
- Excellent communication, documentation and organisational abilities.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if community visits are required).
