SEND Case Officer
Location: North London
Rate: £280 per day
Start: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Hybrid Working: 1 day per week in the office (Wednesdays)
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced
SEND Case Officer to join a busy local authority team in
North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to support children and families within statutory SEND services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with SEND
- Work directly with children and families, including home visits
- Contribute to and support the EHCP process within statutory timescales
- Undertake direct work with parents and children
- Liaise with multiple agencies including schools, health professionals, social care, and other partners
- Participate in TAF/CIN processes where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEND children and families
- Strong knowledge of neurodiverse needs, including ADHD, Autism, and learning needs
- Experience working within EH Services, Statutory Services, or similar settings
- Confident in multi-agency working
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge and awareness of safeguarding procedures
