Are you passionate about sport and supporting young people with Autism (ASD)?
Pertemps Education are seeking a dedicated Sports Teaching Assistant to join a specialist ASD school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping pupils engage in physical education and develop key social and learning skills through sport.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) in PE lessons and sports activities
- Encouraging participation, teamwork, and confidence through structured physical programmes
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom routines and learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Helping create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with ASD or additional needs
- A passion for sport, physical education, and wellbeing
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient in supporting diverse needs
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Sports Coaching, PE, SEN Support) are desirable but not essential
- Long-term, full-time position

Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)
