Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Home Finding Officer in West Midlands
Role Summary This role presents an exciting and creative opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in sourcing the right homes for children we care for. The successful candidate will:
- Liaise with a range of professionals to best match our children with foster carers, residential homes, supported accommodation providers or support their transition back to family-based care.
- Maintain consistency and best practices to secure high-quality, well-matched homes for our children.
Key Responsibilities - Identify and source suitable homes for children.
- Engage with external partners and providers to secure appropriate matches for children.
- Gather and analyse child-specific information to understand their needs - including direct visits with social workers.
- Collaborate with agencies to assess foster carer, supported accommodation and residential home availability.
Required Skills & Experience - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health, social care, education business administration or similar.
- An understanding of children’s Home Finding in a social care setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
