Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with varied social, emotional, and academic needs.

• Differentiating work to meet individual learning requirements.
• Managing behaviour using consistent, supportive strategies.
• Contributing to wider curriculum development and whole-school initiatives.
• Working effectively with the pastoral team to remove barriers to learning.
• Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback.

The ideal English Teacher will:

• Hold QTS or QTLS, with strong subject knowledge.
• Have experience teaching students who require additional support.
• Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Be committed to creating opportunities for students to achieve and succeed.
