Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher with the ability to deliver engaging Triple Science lessons up to GCSE? This high-performing secondary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a skilled Science Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract. With exceptional behaviour, a strong and supportive leadership team, and modern facilities, this school provides an environment where teachers can focus on delivering excellent lessons and helping students reach their full potential.

Students are keen to learn, the department is well organised, and you will have access to a wide range of resources to support high-quality teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This role requires a QTS Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge, who is confident in their ability to stretch academically gifted students.

Job Role:

• Teaching Triple Science to GCSE across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons
• Supporting students to achieve excellent progress across all three disciplines
• Working collaboratively with a strong Science department
• Maintaining high expectations around behaviour, engagement and outcomes
• Contributing to the wider life of the school where required
