A wonderful SEND school in East Birmingham is seeking a Class Teacher to join their dedicated team, teaching a small group of primary-aged pupils with a range of learning needs. This is a rewarding role where your creativity, patience and commitment will have a real impact every day.
You will be teaching a class of no more than 8 pupils, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants who work collaboratively with staff to ensure every child receives personalised learning and care. Job Role:- Teaching a small primary SEND class, planning engaging and accessible lessons
- Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ personal and academic development
- Using a range of strategies to support communication, sensory regulation and learning
- Establishing strong relationships with families, therapists and external support professionals
- Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional well-being
