*** 1:1 and small group academic support across Maths in KS3 & KS4
 
The Role:
Work with the maths department to close gaps and build confidence. Lead short intervention groups, provide 1:1 tutoring, reinforce fluency, reasoning and problem-solving, and support revision and exam technique. Prepare simple resources, log impact, and share clear next steps with teachers.
 
The Candidate:
You hold a maths or related STEM degree, explain concepts clearly, and keep sessions purposeful. You’re organised, reliable, and motivated to progress towards teacher training.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
