The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from January 2026. This full-time, long-term role involves teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4, delivering practical and theory-based lessons that build confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
You will plan, deliver, and assess engaging Drama lessons, support GCSE coursework and performances, and contribute to a positive and inclusive department that values the arts as a key part of the curriculum.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
  • Confident teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
  • Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about performance-based learning
  • Strong in classroom and behaviour management
  • Committed to student engagement and achievement
