The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Walsall is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join their department from January 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis. The role involves delivering engaging Computer Science lessons across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils to develop strong computational thinking and digital literacy skills.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining high classroom standards. This role would suit an experienced Computer Science teacher or an ECT looking to gain long-term experience within a supportive and well-structured school.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
- Be confident delivering both theory and practical lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
