  • Undertake fire risk assessments and audits above standard FRA level.
  • Attend client meetings, workshops, and project site visits.
  • Provide technical input on façade remediation, external wall systems, and building safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators, sub-consultants, and internal teams.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the fire engineering function.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation in line with professional and quality standards.

Candidate Profile
Essential:
  • Experience preparing and reviewing fire strategies for complex projects.
  • Strong report-writing skills and confident client-facing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with small teams or coordinating sub-consultants.
  • Flexible approach to hybrid working, ideally located within the M25 area.

Desirable:
  • Working towards chartership (not essential).
  • Experience delivering RIBA Stage 1–4 fire strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, façade remediation, and EWS compliance.
  • Exposure to high-profile commercial, residential, or heritage projects.
  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline.

What the Role Offers
  • Opportunity to work on technically complex and high-profile projects.
  • Visible role in a boutique consultancy where your work has impact.
  • Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
  • Professional development and mentoring opportunities.
  • 25 days holiday plus additional days at Christmas.
  • Standard pension and sick pay benefits.
  • Home-to-work travel covered
