You’ll be trusted to manage your own diary, complete statutory visits and assessments, and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and families — all while enjoying the autonomy and flexibility that allows you to thrive.
💡 What You'll Be Doing:
- Building trusted relationships with children and families
- Delivering high-quality, strengths-based assessments
- Creating and managing tailored care plans that promote safety, dignity, and long-term positive change
- Managing a varied caseload with support from your manager and peers
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to safeguard vulnerable children
- Offering advice and guidance to unqualified staff or students as needed
- Registered with Social Work England
- 4+ years post-qualification experience in statutory children’s services
- Skilled in child protection, assessment, and multi-agency working
- Confident communicator with strong mediation and negotiation skills
- Able to work creatively, flexibly, and with a solutions-focused mindset
- Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery
