Job Description
Rate: £30 per hour umbrella
Working Pattern: Hybrid (1–2 days per week in the office in Redditch)

- Provide expert advice on housing options, ensuring a customer-focused approach that reflects equality and diversity principles
- Manage a caseload of homelessness applications, applying current legislation and case law, including the Housing Act and Homelessness Reduction Act
- Make defensible, legally compliant decisions at all stages of the homelessness process
- Coordinate temporary accommodation placements in line with legislation, policy, and best practice
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with private sector landlords to increase housing options and prevent homelessness
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive case files, reports, and records in line with quality and financial regulations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, Council departments, and external agencies to deliver effective client support
- Proven experience working within homelessness services or housing options
- Strong working knowledge of housing legislation, including homelessness duties and case law
- Ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment
- Expereince working in a housing association or council
