£28.58 per hour (Umbrella)
3-Month Ongoing Contract
Hybrid Working – Minimum 4 Days in Office

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Service Charge Analyst to join our dedicated Service Charge team at Southern Housing. This is an excellent interim opportunity for a professional with strong analytical ability, housing sector experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

About the Role As a Service Charge Analyst, you will report directly to the Service Charge Manager and play a key role in shaping and delivering an accurate, transparent, and customer-focused service charge function. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, contributing to ongoing transformation and improvement projects within the Service Charge team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate calculation, monitoring, and reconciliation of service charges
• Provide high-quality support and information to service charge payers and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve service charge processes and data quality
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, accounts, and statutory notices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Service Charge function

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Service Charge Analyst or similar role within housing
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with housing management or finance systems (preferred)
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment
